APHA ensures that the relevant Government Departments, Agencies and other appropriate parties such as politicians, media, farm organisations, industry representatives, etc. are briefed on an ongoing basis. APHA also lobbies by organising and contributing to conferences and debates.

APHA is registered as a lobbying association within the European Union on behalf of the Plant Protection and Animal Remedy industry.
